Buddy Signs

Some children find making friends difficult. They can become socially isolated as a result. 

• Appoint older children as playground buddies
• Make a place on your playground for your buddy stop or friendship bench so that all children can find a friend every day.
• Adults encourage children who haven't got a friend to play with to go to the buddy stop or friendship bench.
• Playground buddies set up a range of games
• Buddies encourage children from the buddy stop or friendship bench to play.
